Exclamation TSB Needed for rear wheel bearings

I need the written TSB or a link for the rear wheel bearing replacement. I am taking my car to the dealer and they requested that I have the paperwork for this particular TSB. My symtoms are rear wheel noises (like pocket change jingling noise) everytime that I back up, or go forward within the first few feet.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide

talked to my dealership and they didn't even know what a TSB was and told me i had to bring the information in myself?

what a bust...cuz nissan usa told me they don't give out that information and the dealer is supposed to supply or have knowledge of the TSB

left a message for the service manager...so waiting to see what he says about it....i will keep you guys posted

just talked to the service manager and he is well aware of this problem. not related to mileage at all and i only have 10K!

although i have aftermarket suspension he said it should be no problem....although that can change the angle of the axel and cause wear on those bearing. however, he seems pretty cool so we'll see...going in on the 24th.

Don't worry. I've had mine replaced three times under warrantee. It's a known problem with the axle nuts. Once they lose torque, there is play in the hub/bearing. As that wears, the problem gets worse.

My SM told me: "If you want to keep the problem at hand, torque the bolts every time you have your wheels off. Then you won't need to bring the car in." So, that's what I am doing from now on...

It is 1-1/2" bolt torqued to 177 ft/lbs.

so there is no locking nut for the axel....seems like they would have something to keep the nut from coming loose

that sucks to have to do your own maintenance....but i guess that would save time rather than having to take the car in for repairs all the time

just wanted to update everyone so here goes:

replacing both sides bearings for this tsb...and replacing the rear tires! this worked out perfectly as i was just about to buy tires for the rear since they were extremely wore down. i guess the service manager figured that the two were related....and i am not going to ask why they are replacing the tires!

but i am curious to know if anyone else had their rear tires replaced because of this tsb?

i have not received the car back from the dealer yet but i will give another update once i get my car back....so i am happy so far up to this point but we all know how that goes, eh
