Default A/C problem

anyone have/had problems with their A/C? Recently, very often when I have my fan speed on AUTO, it would blow at full strength, and all of a sudden, just stop...then a few seconds later, start again, and off again after a few....I think it's only my automatic climate control system, cuz whenever I switch it to a speed, it would blow constantly...and the other day, I noticed that it actually blew out HEAT...yes HEAT, it was cool, and then it stopped, and then blew out HEAT very softly, then stopped after a few seconds....help?

actually thats how its programmed to work. Unfortunatly it's very jumpy. It willl blow to get it to the set temp, then stop, because its there. Opps, to cold, turn the hear on for 5-6 seconds... opps to hot.. hit a/c hard.. etc.
i use the manual mode to avoid all this. my wifes expedition does this also.
Think of "cruise control" for the HVAC system.

Sometimes when I start my car the ac will just come on full blast even though the **** is definitily turned to off. I have to switch it on and then back off to get it off, it has happened 3 times in the past month.

I know how automatic climate control system works...my last 3 cars have had it, so i know how it works....this is how it works, if you have it on the lowest or highest possible, it will always blow at full blast, if you select anything between the 2 extremes, your a/c will slow down once it's reached the desired temperature inside...my problem is that when it's on full blast cold, it cuts off as if i turned off the a/c and then on again....a few times, it activated the heat....none of my previous car had this problem...they all worked in similar fashion...and my m3 doesn't have this problem either right now...

Many Z drivers' AC system been messing up and 90% of time it was traced back to the white ac amp box blowing a tiny transistor...I got mine replaced already once everything works cool now I had to drive around in texas heat for 3 weeks with no ac while hte part came in

i have 04 enthus. sometimes while just started the car or driving the A/C will turn on automaticlly. i would have to hit the A/C button to turn it off.

i have the A/C button off and the fan **** @ off. and temp all the way counter clockwise.
is this normal? this is my first car that is actually pretty new and has A/C

No thats not normal, nothing should turn on and off unless you tell it to.... I would take it to the dealership.

Ditto i thought i was crazy when my ac turned on while the **** said off. it started doing this a couple months ago and now it seems to be doing it every other day. I talked to a nissan engineer and he said i have to duplicate the problem and im like WTF. Good to hear im not only one with this problem.

Thats exactly what I thought they would say so I didnt even try to talk to anyone about it. Its so random they would need to drive my car for like a week to get it to do it.
