Did you unplug the little white box under the radio and behind the AC controls with the battery still hooked up? If so that is it, that box process many signals that will set off the light if diconnected with the battery still hooked up, lesson is to disconnect the battery before doing the work.

i had the same problem after i installed my alpine head unit...some guy advised me to unplug the negative terminal of my battery and leave it for about 12 hours (overnight). came back, plugged it back in, and the light was gone. no problems ever since. voodoo magic, coincidence, or an actualy fix? who knows, but it made the light go away

Now, does anyone know what I did here. I took out the passenger seat and now I have an airbag light on. I had the engine light on after I removed the console and cleared it by unhooking the battery for a few hours. Yes, I did it all with the battery connected. "Real men do all of their work while their cars are fully powered!!!" lol!!! I do disconnect it when working on the amps or any high powered stuff, though.

Thanks
