Serious clutch issues with 3700 miles PLEASE HELP!
I did use the search, it seems others had this problem but no one told them how to go about fixing it. Before reading, know that I have not been doing burnouts or anything stupid. I drive the car pretty hard but I dont beat the crap out of it.I have owned 6 other manual cars and never had a single problem with any of them.
I have had my z for about 3 months now and I was at a stop light the other night. Started in first gear, took it to about 4500 rpm then depressed clutch and went to shift into 2nd. It wouldnt go into second gear. So it is now in neutral and I pulled my foot off the clutch and it wouldn't pop back up, the clutch pedal was stuck on the floor. I tried pushing it down a few times but it still wouldnt come back up, so I then wedged my toes in between the floor and the pedal and pulled it up. Then I pushed it back down and put it into 2nd gear. pressed down on the gas and I felt some pickup, but then the engine just revved up. Eventually after going in and out of gear and messing around with the clutch pedal everything started working fine. BUT the clutch smell hasn't gone away no matter how I drive it is still there and very strong. Also the clutch pedal seems to engage a lot later than it used to. I need to know how serious this is. Someone please advise me of what to do. The car is completely stock btw. Thank you so much for your help!

It happened to me several times before. It's kinda weird but my clutch is fine til today with turbo kit on it. It was scary isn't it
Let out the clutch and then press on the gas but going no where. Then the smell started to come out. this issue been talked about somewhere on the forum, but I can't remembered what it is. Don't worry it will be fine.
