So my car shuts off while driving (not mid shift)
OK, I had posted a thread before about my car shutting off in between shifts when I'm at high RPM's and higher gears. Most people deduced that it was because of the pop-charger.
Now, my car actually shuts off when I am in gear. About 4 or 5 times in the last week, I was driving and my car just shuts off WHILE IN GEAR. If I go to accelerate, I notice it has no oomph...I push the clutch in and try to gas it but it just shuts off...like I can't even keep the car running. I pull over, start the car back up, and drive off like nothing happen. Anybody have any clues? Electrical??

xtazee, My check engine light never came on nor did any other problem notices. I always make sure to check all my gauges right when its happening and nothing out of the ordinary. Do you think a diagnostic computer would still find any codes??

An alternative (free), would be to take your care to Autozone or Advance. They have a diagnostic tool that can read basic error codes. Not as advanced as CONSULT.
I heard that on the JWT website there was a posted fix for people that have had this problem. I haven't had it for a while because I just don't take it out of gear after running it hard. Try their website though.
