Default Oil viscosity

On my first oil change at 3750 miles, my dealer put in 10W-30 oil, even thought the manual recommends 5W-30. Has anyone else had this happen? Today I am bringing it in for the second at 7500, and I am going to insist they put in 5W-30. Why wouldn't the dealer use what's recommended in the manual? (The manual says that at temps over 0C, 10W-30 is OK, but 5W-30 is still preferred.)

My dealer did the same when I brought it in for the first change at 1800 mi. I just switched to mobil 1 at 5K, so I no longer have to worry about what viscosity the dealer has in stock.
Frankly, I don't think the dealers know much about the car or what is recommended for it....

if you are not going to see freezing temp, 10w30 is actually better than 5w30. That's what I am using.
