Default Question About Rust...and Warranty

Hey everyone. I just looked over the warranty booklet and really dont understand it exactly....

Here is my problem

When you pop open your hood the mechanism you need to press to under the hood has alot of rust on it for some reason. Since i have corrosion warranty shouldnt that be fixed? Or is corrosion just on the body?

Also.... when i bought the car i noticed a air bubble on the paint. I dont know if its possible to have an air bubble but im pretty sure thats what it was. It was located right by the front left headlight. After washing the car i noticed that the bubble "popped" and underneath is rust The thing is very small and i dont know what to do. Would the dealership repair it under warranty or will they give me a BS excuse that its my fault....or warranty doesnt cover rock chips (even tho it wasnt a rock chip).

Any help would be great.

Not sure if Nissan has the same warranty as Infiniti does....

Infinity has an unlimited millage, 7 year corrosion warranty. They've changed all 4 door skins, hood as well as my trunk lid for free, no questions asked.

They define "corrosion" as Any metal part that has penetrating rust (as opposed to "california rust" which is also called "surface rust"....

I was told that if you can take a pin, and can penetrate the area in question with it, then it "fits the bill".......

Good luck

PS. That pic looks like a rock chip, which isnt covered.
