3rd gear grinding
Has anyone called Nissan regarding this, and what was the results. I just called the service dept from where I purchased the car and he said he would check it out. DOes not seem like he has heard of this problem. I feel that I am going to have a fight on my hands to get this resolved if they cannot reproduce. Just curious how everyone else has made out regarding this problem.
BTW I have 4600 miles on the car, and Atl has been going through a cold spell and this seems much worse, but it seems to prdominantly happen when the tranny is cold

Nissan is very aware of this issue. If the issue isn't easy to reproduce now, it will be soon enough. The car may need to sit at the dealer for an hour or two so that you can reproduce the issue. Once the Service Advisor, or Technician, hears the grind, have them call Nissan Tech. They will get you taken care of. You shouldn't have any problems. If they balk, call NNA.

I'm making my appointment next week for the dealer to feel this grind for themselves
