Got a nice little crack on my windshield the other day, about the size of the top of a thumb tack, and I was wondering if anyone in SoCal (Orange County Area), knew of a good, reliable, and maybe even cheap place to get this fixed.
I looked in the Yellowpages and Google, but I'd like to see if anyone had a good experience with a shop in the area.
Thanks for the input in advance.

Why is it that 99 out of 100 post of yours are just some smart remark that has nothing to do with what the poster has asked? I mean lets be real here. You have over 7,000 post! and I see your post on every page of this site. I'm sure the orginal poster didn't appreciate what you had to say. Not to flame you or anything but could you let up just a little on some of us? Not everyone here has the experience you have with the site.
Mmmm gettin' a little hot in here.
If the crack is fairly small, you could try a repair kit from Kragen, I have had some success in the past with them (66% success of the three I have done).
You'll want to get it fixed soon though, with the cool mornings and warm afternoons in SoCal, your glass will be expanding and contracting and will most likely cause it to spread.
As for having someone else do it, most good car wash places have a guy that comes in to do windshields and paintless dent removal. I am in NorCal so I can't recommend a specific one though, the SoCal section should be able to help in that respect.
If you do end up replacing the glass, the stock glass is about $900, aftermarket is closer to $300 installed.
