Default Double Sided Tape

i recently took off my A-pillars to have them repainted. in order to get to the screws i had to take off the rubber seal moulding. its all held in place using double sided tape. now i have double sided tape stuck on the moulding that i need to remove so i can put a fresh strip on there.

whats the best and easiest way to remove double sided tape off of rubber moulding? i'd hate to have to buy new moulding just for that.

thanks in advance.

BUY "GOO GONE", its what i use to take any sticky or greasy stuff off instantly and does not harm anything. I just it to take off stickers and the 350z emblem on the trunk in seconds.

i tried goo gone. i have too much of the double sided tape left for it to be effective. it does take it off, but i gave up after it took me 30 minutes to take off about a 1 foot section of it. each piece is about 5 feet long.

Try heating it first using a blow dryer. This should make it easy to remove. Clean the residue using goo gone and finish with some clean water. Good luck.
