Default oil leak??

ok to say the least im not to happy had my mechanic do an oil change today and when he remove the plastic cover under the engine he found a small amount of oil had dripped onto the plastic cover and also on to different parts of the underneath area on the drivers side. he seems to think it could be coming from the valve cover or in that area im taking the car in asap on friday so i'll keep you up to date...

its not alot of oil but its enough to **** me off i only have 5200 miles on a care a waited 6 months to get and drove for 6 months alreay.

any one else had any oil leaks let me know...

I noticed this too when I did my first change. I'm due for the second one so we'll find out if it's a continuous problem.

Got my car back from the dealer Friday and they confirmed the oil leak. They put some dye in the oil and I have to take it back in a couple of days. They believe it's the cam cover gasket, driver's side.

yes I experienced leaking/burning oil as well!! This happened after only 12 hours of ownership!! I first noticed a lot of white smoke coming from the car (burning oil) then when I looked underneath, the car was leaking oil. The dealer is looking at it now....

BRAND NEW car........
