Wink Cleaner

My friend car was boggin down and stuff. He went and bought the cleaner and it fixed the problem. So, I tend to clean it every other oil change. Y not? It can only help.

I tried the Crc cleaner on my G35 friday and i must say i'm glad i did.I feel the engine pulling smoother and stronger.I removed the mass air sensor itself to clean it(2 small screws) sprayed 8-10 times, let dry for few minutes and reinstalled.I have 22K+ miles on my car and i feel the car responding a whole lot better. All for 6 bucks and 10 minuties.

I used the CRC MAF cleaner on the MAF assembly, yesterday. The hardest part was tracking down the Torz 20 security bit to remove the 2 torx head screws. Other than that it's quite a simple process. I didn't notice much difference after the cleaning, but the MAF unit was quite clean clean prior to the cleaning. It's definitely worth the few bucks to keep everything in check.

The directions are pretty sparce. It says to spray 10-15 shots on the hot plate... whatever that is.

I think I screwed mine up. On the metal plate I noticed some slight white foam expanding around the edges(probably the seal for the main box.) It's very slight, so i'm hoping I haven't done any damage. To all others: I would just spray into the vents. I'm letting it dry overnight and will report on how bad I f'd it up.

well i use this exact product mass air flow cleaner everytime i clean the filter and it does seem to help the car breathe better. It doesnt hurt the engine at all, and when the filter gets dirty, combined with cleaning it and spraying on the maf cleaner you will notice a nice little gain. and the whistling sound from the jwt intake is fully restored.

Ever since this thread came out i did buy one. I do it every other time i clean the filter. Blue oil comes out from inside the maf Also, i clean the throttle plate every 2 oil cahnges too. The hot side is black with soot from blowby. Use TB cleaner not carb cleaner for the TB.

Well... I am a idiot ... I had installed a new filter, piping and I ended up putting the sensor backwards so it was getting no air flow. Fixed the codes. Car runs wayyy better. Cleaning with crc works wonders.
