hey whats up everyone. i am new here to the forum and to the z world. i owned a 240sx before my z so i am not new to the nissan world.
my question is, i bought my z with 36000 miles on, and i wanted to go ahead and change the oil. i was thinking of using synthetic but i dont what they used before to do the oil changes. for an oil filter i am using k&n.
please give me an idea of what to use for oil cause i am in debate.

Well.. from what I understand is that if you use synthetic, you can't go back. So I guess you could assume they used synthetic and just stick with it, or assume they used regular and switch over to synthetic. Just remember to use synthetic from now on if you do that.

 

Mobil 1 5W30 for the duration of your car's life. The 350Z needs 5 quarts, and you can get 5 quart containers of the juice for about $22 from Wal-Mart. The best filter I've found is actually the Nissan one. Go to your dealer and get some filters.
