Unhappy brake warning light on dash- help!

ok fellas..it was a nice sunny day here in maryland...i was driving swiftly thru traffic up 83N near timonium...couple cars tried to keep up but ofcourse failed...

as i approached my exit and slowed down from 95mph...the brake light (!) looks sorta like that..was flashing..i slowed down..when i returned home..i had plenty of brake fluid...

what could that be about?

Is your parking brake ALL the way down? If it wasn't then a little jitter in the road might have set the sensor off.

Otherwise who knows.

The Parking brake causes the "BRAKE" light to come on, not the low fluid warning ((!)) light.

Bdrose, I assume you have a relatively new Z so it's probably not a warning related to low brake pads. The owners manual states that if it's not low brake fluid, then you should get the system checked by the dealer.
