My list of "potential problems"...need help!
Sup everyone,
Ok so I own a 2004 350Z Enth. 6spd. I love the car!...i have only owned Z's as sports cars. I have barely 13000 miles on her, and i have been experiencing alot of strange things that keep poping up every week. I have decided to make a list of things that are occuring and was hoping someone can shed some light on these "potential problems" and give me some advice as to what they can be. I did search and found similar instances with other members rides, but no one seemed to post a definitive answer, it was more like "took it to dealership and they replaced trans!".
1) Rattling noise when clutch is out ( i know, it supposedly "normal") but my buddy's 350Z with more miles on it doesnt do this. Also, loud clunking noises when shifting from 1st to 2nd (not driving hard).
2) Rough idle and sputtering at idle when car is driven hard. I get this alot now, along with the shifter vibrating like crazy.
3) This annoying vibration that lasts for a few seconds and goes away when accelerating hard in any gear (most noticeably 3rd), then letting off the gas and have the car decelrate. It happens as the car is decelerating in that specific gear.
4) The shifter fails to go into gear when driving hard...1st vrrroooom, 2nd vrrooom...3rd VVVRROOOOOOM with hard vibration through shifter and not in gear. I hate this feeling and noise...it happens in fifth gear sometimes too.
If anyone can help me out with this i would surely appreciate it...i am still under warranty and really wanna make sure i dont get stuck with a lemon while paying the cars loan off.

sounds like a bad tranny is causing those problems. if you have the problem of it not going into gear often enough that you can take it to nissan and have them replicate the problem, then take it to nissan. if it doesn't happen often enough yet just keep driving hard till it does. my tranny was replaced for 3rd gear not engaging. at first it was only when really pushing it, but then started to happen under normal driving as well.
