Default (More) Props to Performance Nissan Service

Had a good experience at Perf. Nissan today.

Scheduled service for axle clicking with Tim, one of the service managers. Very nice guy to talk to.

Top 10 Reasons I was pleased:

1) Flexible scheduling
2) Did not hassle me in any way or BS me in any way. Was honest enough to tell me that if I brought the car in after 10AM the guys would probably not finish, break for lunch and my car would not get ready until afternoon. This is a very courteous maneuver and I appreciated it a lot.
3) Followed simple instructions; for example, they did not wash my car when I requested "no wash"
4) My rims were not scratched when I got the car back
5) Tim explained to me what they did to fix the problem (even though I already knew)
6) They have cool/entertaining stuff to look at in the waiting area, like flywheels and clutches and nismo exhaust, suspension parts, and motul motor oil for $9 a quart (what a rip off lol)
7) They have WIRELESS INTERNET for free! Bring your laptop!
8) Got a coupon for a free coffee from the machine. Was decent coffee.
9) They actually fixed the problem, which is good because I don't like getting my time wasted.
10) Finished everything in a timely manner.

Tim is cool, He's the performance service consultant. Performance Nissan is the best-IMO. I have done all my installs their and they have all been perfect.

I'm wondering if they'll do my TSBs and warranty stuff outside the warranty period for zero cost. Now THAT would be impressive.

Are you sure you need to be under warranty to get TSB done? TSB service is practically like a recall... Why don't you give them a call, it can't hurt to ask.

TSBs are usually done at the dealer's option if the car is out of warranty.

Tim Larsen is the only service writer I do business with hands down. I never had any problems with him at all and he treat my car like it was his. To be fair I never had anyone else write me up but I tend to make my appointments based on Tims day off and on.
