Default Mechanics gloves.. Recommendations?

I'm looking to buy a pair of gloves for doing basic maintenance and installing bolt-ons. Can anybody recommend a good pair? Not too expensive (under 30) and isn't too bulky but also protects your hands.

Thanks in advance

I found some at OReilly's for $20. Been using them for several months and they seem to be holding up fine. They definitely keep your hands cleaner and I haven't been dinging them as much.

Look into Ironclad Gloves.
Had several pairs and I love those things! Thin enough to grab stuff but will stop a sharp corner from getting to ya skin
You can find them just about anywhere I get mine at Northern Hydraulic

Mechanix Wear is what the label says. Probably just some generic brand.

I use the ProFramer gloves made by CLC. I purchased them from Home Depot. These gloves have open ends on the index finger and thumb on each hand so that you can pick up small items. They work great and sure keep my hands from getting scratched up. CLC also makes a glove specifically for mechanics, but I have not been able to find them locally. Here is a link to there glove website:
