VDC button fell into my dash...
Hey guys:
The other day when I tried to disable my VDC, I heard a soft click and then the VDC button fell into my dash. My hands aren't small enough to get back there to retreive it and I'm not confident enough to take apart the console panels.
Has this happened to anyone else?
It kinda sucks cuz now I don't have any way to disable the traction control until I bring it in...

got a phillips head screw driver and 15 min?
that lower panel should have just a screw and a bunch of snaps holding it in.
dont take it to the dealership, theyll charge you too much.

I pushed my fuel door button through and was f'in pissed...I know its not the same but I was able to grab it with some needle nose pliers and luckily snap it back into place. good luck though
Well, considering that my car barely has 4,000 miles on it, I assumed (hoped)that they would fix it with no questions asked.
It was maybe the 12th time that I've ever touched that switch. How could the build quality leave so much to be desired? I'm surprised that something like this would happen with a $35,000 car...
