question about oil change intervals

Default question about oil change intervals
ive been reading around the threads and have noticed most ppl change their oil at around 3000 miles or so....and i was jsut wondering if it would be all right to have oil changes every 5k miles?

Nissan says every 7500 is OK.

Follow the interval recommended in your manual.

Ive changed it @ 7500 and the oil still had another 2500 mi of life left. With syn you can push it that far easily.
