Question a/c auto mode acting weird

Hey, guys I tried searching but couldn't find anything. My a/c auto function fan is shooting air to the windshield instead of foward like it used to be. This started happening after they installed an avic-d2. Does anybody knows why is this happening, before i take it back to the shop that installed the navi. I tried disconnecting the battery but it keeps doing the same thing, also a/c is only cold right at 60 anything over is hot air comming out.

please help.......anybody? thanks

can you change it to panel mode (forward) manually or is it always stuck on defrost mode? if it's always stuck on defrost mode i'm guessing either an electrical or vacuum line to the HVAC system is not connected. modern HVAC's default to defrost mode when it fails.

it can be manually adjusted to forward position, only on auto mode goes to defrost. Do the plug connectors fit only in one position?, or maybe they were reversed or connected on the wrong spot.

+1

Check all your vacuum line connections. Happened in my last car, and i realized I removed a vaccum line an never replaced it.
