Default friend dropped screwdriver on my quarterpanel, PICS inside

Hi you guys, my idiot friend dropped either a screwdriver or something ridiculous onto my quarterpanel and it made this sharp sharp dent and chipped away the paint. I know I should get a rush remover and neutralizer, but i'm not sure about the touchup paint. Should I prime it then paint it? Also, the sharpness of the dent has me worried, any ideas? Thanks

You're going to need more than primer n touch-up paint for that.

Good pics, but unfortunately that's a big ding. To properly repair it, you'll need to sand and feather the section around it and hammer-and-dolly it smooth. Then a little bondo, some primer and two-stage paint feathered in will make it almost imperceptible. Anything less and it's gonna look like A$$!

Where'd he drop it from.. the top of a two-story bulding? You sure he's a "friend"?

Yeah, you're gonna need some real body work.

Are you having sex with his sister or something? The only way a screwdriver could do that is if it was wielded in a stabbing motion.

And you may need to get the entire panel painted...very difficult to feather metal flake.

Thats just not going to be an easy fix. It looks so small and aggrevating, that I would just take it to a body shop. It cant be more the $100 or so to fix that though.

Looks like it was jabbed, not dropped. Beat his *** if he doesn't pay for the repair.

It might've been the top part of a jackstand... still not entirely sure cuz he's not fessin up but there were 3 of us working on the car and the other guy and i didn't see it, but it showed up after we heard a loud mettalic bang, him go 'OUCH' and he was like oh don't worry, it didn't hit ur car, just my foot.

Anyways, I'm not too worried about it looking like *** because my car has taken so much ****... it just attracts idiotic drivers... when my car isn't even moving! But I just want to make sure it doesn't rust too badly. It's started to rust a little... but what should I do to clean it and protect it? Thanks

I think you need to rethink your definition of "friend."

Anyone that would damage my property, lie to me about it, then not tell me what he did when I see the damage is not my friend or even an acquaintance. They are public enemy #1.
