LMAO!!
I ordered my RP fluids. Now to schedule my over due check-up to get all fluids changed out.
The trans fluid should be GL4 while the Diff should be GL5. What does the RP meet? 4 or 5.
I have Amsoil in my trans since last year and I don't really like it. At operating temps its fine but cold, the trans is hard to shift in first and second.
By cold I mean less than 50F outside.
How is RP in colder weather ?

The upside is that I've noticed over the last couple of weeks, my gas mileage has gone up about 2 mpg.

My 1-2 shift is a little notchy and sometimes I have to be at a deadstop to downshift from 2 to 1. How can I change the transmission and diff oil to Royal purple? Do i just buy 6 quarts and ask the dealership to do this? Also, I'm only at a 1000 miles, should I wait?
Sorry for the newbie questions

Looks like I will do all of this in one day since I will have access to a lift.
1. Nismo Exhaust install
2. Pop Charger install
3. 06 tailight install
4. Change oil/filter
5. Change Diff fluid
6. Change Tranny fluid
7. Put Volks back on and wax on/wax off!

Should be fun. If anyone wants access to a lift and located near San Angelo, TX. I'll pay your lift fee, plus help you change your fluids if you help me do mine,

I would rate changing the trans/diff about a 3/10 also... the only thing that is "difficult" is lifting the whole car to be level.
pop charger install, and tail lights install, you don't need to lift the car BTW
i just changed my tranny/dif with RP max gear. not too hard at all, i bought a suction pump for 10 bucks at auotzone, i dont think i cldve done the diff without it.
anyway. honestly.....im not as impressed as i thought i would be. everything seems a little quieter but first feels a little harder to engage than before. besides that, everything seems very smooth. i do however smell somthing burning from around the transmission, and i saw what looked like a little puff of smoke at one point. ive not had a chance to lift it back up to actually crawl under and look, but ive laid down and watched it for awhile, and never saw a single drip? is it possible for it to be leaking just enough to be burning on the exhaust, but not dripping to the ground? ive even looked at the ground where its been sitting while its parked, and dont see anything? i thought i wiped everything clean...but maybe i left some drips on the exhaust?

evrything is fine. nothing is leaking, i just spilled a considerable amount actaully on the exhaust while i was using the pump gun. lol. messy, messy. my friend "helping" me, wouldnt even hand me anything, so i ended makin a mess, nockin stuff over as crawled in and out on my back.
all is well
