Default Dead battery at ~ 70K

I meant to post this 15K ago or so; anyways...

Around 60K, my dome/door lights stopped working. I never got around to checking the fuses or anything; to busy/lazy. A few months later around 70K the battery died. Car had been at the airport a day or two and barely started when I left the parking garage. I figured it would charge right up on the drive home and be fine - but no. In the end, I had to get a new battery.

Reason I am posting is that the dome lights started working again after I put a new battery in; no other changes. So, if your dome lights stop working, it may be a sign of the battery about to go out. I am not aware of any other issues besides the dome lights during this 10K span.

At 83K now and no problems with the dome/door lights since. Thus my suspicion.

Hope this proves of use to someone.

my battery went out at 63K. No warning whatsoever. It just didn't start one night and I was stranded in a parking lot. I do have a 10" sub.

Changed out the battery and I'm fine.

All you guys nearing 60k, watch out!

my battery died at 45K mile, the battery life around 3-4 yrs, so if you change the battery now, 3,4 yrs later you need to change it again. mileage doesnt matter.
