Default Warranty service on feathered tires

Hi Z/G drivers.

I have an 03` Z that I enjoy immensely, despite many 1st year teething pains. I thought the feathering had been beaten with the help of an excellent friend tech, and another new set of tires/alignment. Nope. So, I now have the roar at 25mph, and small but noticeable hi/lo block wear pattern on the inside front(s).

Since I`ve had 3 sets of tires from Nissan since late 03` when I bought the car, and the ``fix`` never did anything but sacrifice a new set of crummy tires, do I have any options here besides eating it?

Thanks to help from another member I was able to look up Nissan`s policy of the extended tire/alignment warranty till 10/05` or 3yrs from inservice (that`s how I read it anyhow). I`m past both, but am hoping that the ineffectual fixes while it was under warranty will give me some leverage. Something along the lines of, ``Nope, you`re not done yet with this job``.

Has anyone had new tires AFTER their car was more than 3 years old?

P.S. I was on hold with NNA for , oh, 40 minutes with no pickup a few days ago. Chalk it up to being near the holidays, hopefully....

Default Another detail...

I last had the tires replaced/aligned around 6/05` I believe (or earlier) so are were there any new alignment specs since that time? I `ve read that a `new` tire was given since ??? too, so maybe the newest and best specs/tire argument could get me one last dance with Nissan?

Thanks!

Jack

Sound like they replaced the tires, 3X, and never did the alignment to the new spec.
