OK ----On ur new "intake" ------Is it an aluminum tube that runs from the throttle body towards the front of the car to a new air filter ? Did the box it came in have a Name on it ---A manufacturer ?

Throttle body spacer? What kind of performance is that supposed to give you? do you mean Plenum spacer? As far as the intake goes, if you have a new pipe, you need to remove the stock MAF sensor and install it "PROPERLY" on the new intake. make sure don't put it on backwards, and plug it in. It should work just fine. make sure all of your clamps are secure as well....
