Bump. My check engine light came on two days ago and I got the code pulled and it was P1759. My car is a 2006 nissan 350z enthusiast, automatic transmission, with 63k miles. I had my transmission fluid flushed by the dealership at 61k miles and the used the s-matic fluid. I cant find any fixes for this issue. The symptom I am having from this code is a high Rev and slow take off from stops. Anyone have any ideals on how my issue can be fixed? Will installing a new valve body help in this situation?

Bump.
Had my entire cooling system replaced [new thermostat, transcooler, fans/shroud, Koyo radiator, hoses and clamps]. Everything seemed fine on the ride home when something odd happened with the throttle response. Felt like the car wasn't in the proper gear [5AT] and wouldn't get above a certain RPM. Made it home [barely] and checked the code: P1759 FR/B SOLENOID FNCT. Been doing nothing but watching YT vids on how this could've happened because there was definitely nothing wrong with my transmission and it and the only get changed/flushed at regular intervals.
Currently, there's a lot online about the Pathfinder, Titan and G-series but not much about a 2005 350Z. Taking the car back this week and will post the results for anyone else who might have to go through this.

Sounds like it went into limp mode. Don't know if its from the trans or the engine overheating though.
Next time it happens, try to put it in manual mode. When my trans was overheating it would automatically put it in drive and it would not acknowledge it when I moved it to manual.

Okay, so apparently that 'TCM Curse' just randomly happens to us after about 100k+ on a tranny that's never given me any problems since 2005. The shop said it's the better option to find a slightly used tranny and replace mine with that then my suggestion about just buying an entirely new TCM. They said since the old TCM is sending bad information out it'd just be a matter of time until the entire transmission sh*ts the bed[?]
