Default HR engine to DE chasis and trans swap
Hey guys I want to know if I can fit in a hr motor in a de chasis I also plan on doing a swap from a 5at to 6mt and was wondering if I can use the des clutch pedal and all of the other things that came with the car all I know is that I cant use a de tranny but does anyone know what I have to get to complete this swap? Any help is greatly appreciated

you need alot of money, i think you need the rad core support, steering rack, hood, wiring harness, ecu. a mod on here has done it, and its not just plug and play

I don’t believe there’s any way that it would be cheaper to swap an engine and trans into a new chassis then to just buy a different car altogether. Especially with how cheap Zs are now. Hope you find one.

Lol I tought It blew too but it didnt trans was on the way out got it replaced car is running fine now

The only engine swap I would do on this car is one that adds 2 cylinders. Otherwise just go with a DE.

So, exactly WHY are you planning to replace the DE? After all, you just changed the CLUTCH (not the transmission) and you need the practice downshifting. No sense in doing a complicated sway (either HR or V8) when it's the nut behind the wheel that needs work!

I really wish under-30's would stop buying 350's. They're quickly causing me to get the same taste in my mouth every time I see a mis-matched body panel 240SX.

Im selling the de engine and one of my 350s shell to someone but I want to swap my engine to my other z because one has frame damage all I need is help with this swap not **** responses.
