HR engine to DE chasis and trans swap
Hey guys I want to know if I can fit in a hr motor in a de chasis I also plan on doing a swap from a 5at to 6mt and was wondering if I can use the des clutch pedal and all of the other things that came with the car all I know is that I cant use a de tranny but does anyone know what I have to get to complete this swap? Any help is greatly appreciated

So I am new to driving manual transmissions and I have been driving it for 2 weeks but I messed up big time! I was coming to a stop and I was downshifting but instead of going to 3rd gear I went into 1st and my engine redlined like crazy and now my engine makes a really loud knocking sound it has oil but im also not to sure if its my engine because I had a really heavy clutch and ever since this happend my clutch became light the car would also turn off on me when I came to a stop.. once I got home my car did not want to start so I gave it a while to cool down and it started but not right away ! Please help!
I don’t believe there’s any way that it would be cheaper to swap an engine and trans into a new chassis then to just buy a different car altogether. Especially with how cheap Zs are now. Hope you find one.

I am selling the long block out of my 2008 Z06 to go with a built motor for boost. New cam, main and rod bearings. Still has stock crank, rods and pistons. It will come with a stage 4 N/A cam. The heads have Manley SS intake and inconel exhaust valves with PAC .660 springs. Will not come with intake manifold and oil pan. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. $6,000

So, exactly WHY are you planning to replace the DE? After all, you just changed the CLUTCH (not the transmission) and you need the practice downshifting. No sense in doing a complicated sway (either HR or V8) when it's the nut behind the wheel that needs work!

Im selling the de engine and one of my 350s shell to someone but I want to swap my engine to my other z because one has frame damage all I need is help with this swap not **** responses.
