IM PISSED and need suggestions.....
ok well, i have a recall on my 03 Track for fuel hose, which is not a problem...
but also i had nissan check the history of my car if the tire feathering recall was ever done on my car, and it wasn't! so i check my front tires, and there are signs of tire wear on one side, and Nissan refuses to re-adjust and re-angle the camber to fix it and give me a set of front tires! they say its becuz the courtesy sevice for the feathering expired in 05............. That is a bunch of crap! I think, if there is a flaw in the way a cars part was made or designed, it should be Nissans responsibility to fix it 4 free, it wasn't my fault! I need some suggestions on trying to fight this....
and i just have powertrain warrenty left.... its a 03 track with 13k miles.....HELP

Did you buy it from the dealer? If it was private I can see why they would say no. The guy who sold it to you should have done it and didn't in time, that's not really their fault. He should have told you about it. If you bought it from them however, that's bs and they should do it.

While it would be nice of Nissan to reimburse you for the cost of new tires, the tire feathering issue has been known for a long time now. Is it Nissan's fault that you're just now getting around to dealing with it?
I'd say that since you've already put 13k miles on the tires, you're gonna need to replace them soon anyway. Get some decent tires and have an independent shop do the alignment.

i didnt buy the car from a private seller, i bought it at a dodge dealer that got it in as a trade in, i just bought the car like a little over a month ago, so its not like i let it ride with the tire feathering problem for 13k miles....
Also i tried 2 nissan dealers, and they both said the same ish.... its giving me so many issues to deal with, the tire sensor/PSI light stays on, the tire noise is so loud, argh!!

Once you put some decent tires on it the tire noise will go away.

As much as I feel for you since I went through the same thing, I don't think it's unfair for Nissan to deny you. This sums it up:
The extended Front Wheel Alignment Warranty for all affect 2003 350Z's will be two (2) years, from the original in-service date. For vehicles experiencing this noise, Nissan will inspect the tires for this irregular wear pattern, and will rotate or replace affected tires. For vehicles whose front tires were previously replaced due to tire roar or growl, Nissan will reimburse customers for front tires that were replaced with less than 30,000 miles of usage at the time of replacement based on documented front tire noise complaints (prorated from 21,001 to 30,000 miles).
So as you can see you are past the TSB expiration date. What you are asking is like me wanting them to fix minor issues with my car after the bumper to bumper has expired.
