Default Rear Hatch Adjustment

I need anything you have on adjusting the rear hatch. Including latch as well as actual hatch alignment. Mine isn't going far enough down. And its not close enough to the center roof piece.

the hatch is high enough to where i can push down on it to close the gap. There has to be an adjustment on a latch or something.

Pull off the plastic cover in the hatch interior (latch plastic cover with trunk light) there should be a few bolts.. loosen them and push down.. That should bring your hatch gap down.......

ultra bump, can anyone tell me how i can adjust the hatch latch so it will latch further down... if that makes sense. my carbon hatch needs to come down just a little in the back. i took the plastic off the latch but didnt see any adjustment

and also, i dont think theres anything else i can do about this... but as you can see the roof sits lower than the glass on the hatch. if anybody has any idea what to do for that it would be appreciated.

Are the bottom mounts of the hatch struts installed upside-down?

B- random ideas that may help:
1) Do you still have the previous/original hatch and hook? If so, compare sizes and swap back to the old hook.
2) Is the latch hitting the hook about midpoint (front to rear)? If not it might be a forward/aft adjustment. Back in the day they used spacers(washers), but you seem to have a 3/8" gap, so not sure there is that much adjustment.
Good Luck with it!
