lmao i now have a strange window motor problem
2 months ago before i left for vacation, right when i dropped my car off to my friend to get it garaged, as i was talking to him with my passenger window rolled down, i tried to roll it up, but it was stuck
i thought that was a great time to leave for a vacation
but 2 weeks after that, i talked to my friend and he said he managed to roll it up after he warmed up my car for me
i came back today and i tried to roll the window all the way down and bring it back up, and it wouldnt again
but before i rolled it all the way down, it was rolling fine, but it messes up when i hit rock bottom
doesnt sound like my motors dead, but does anyone know whats going on down there?

If you push the window down from the top while holding the window button up it'll catch gears and It'll work for a while. If the window is below the weather stripping you'd better not have fat fingers. If this does work for you, be prepared to replace the motor soon. Rock Auto is where I got mine and it was a little over $100 after sending the core back in.
My drivers side window died the same way. At first I rolled it down then tried to get it back up. It would only go up about half way then back down. It did this a few times before it died completely.
Dealer charged me $50 to have the motor replaced. Would have cost more but my extended warranty (gold plan) took care of it.
