Default Clutch pedal feeling more stiff than before.

Mine's an '03 with a -008 transmission installed a year ago. Lately I feel as if my timing is off when I shift, but I notice the clutch pedal effort is getting tough. I'm still able to shift, but it takes more effort to press down the pedal. Also, if I quickly let go the pedal feels like it wants to stick before getting back up. I know the same happens in freezing temps, but it's been in the 60s and 70s.

Can anyone relate?

Clutch cylinder fluid check looks good. I also figured out why I've been grinding once in awhile. So when pressing down on the clutch, I can get in gear as long as my foot does not partially lift while going down. In other words, I have to make sure my foot goes down and never "lift" a little and go all the way down. I get locked out and grind.
