Default Lug bolt came off. Fix?

I took my rims off to get new tires put on and one of the lug bolts from the rear came off. The grooves are not touching the spindle so I cant get it to grip or anything. What do you guys think the chances of taking my car to a shop, taking off the wheel and brakes and getting them to weld it back on are. It would be a tight fit trying to get to the backside.

I am assuming you broke on of your wheel studs. DO NOT TRY WELDING IT BACK ON!!! Take it to a shop and they should be able to take your hub apart and replace a new one.

you can do it yourself. hammer out the old stud and put a new one in. there should be some other threads with pics and better instructions. the stud is less than 2 dollars. Should not take more than 2 hours.

Thats the thing. It's already off. It just slides in and out. It doesnt have any contact with the hole it goes in. Kind of like it was too small for it. The stud itself is in perfect condition.
