Default Paint peeling on 06 cubby button

It figures that right after I make a post about not having any issues with my car I find something. Well I did a search but didn't find anything (or I didn't sift the results well enough). The button on my 06 cubby door is peeling. At first I thought it was just dirt or something, but the black paint is actually peeling away. Has anyone else had the issue or is this just isolated? I'm sure my dealership will fix it under warranty, but I was just wondering if I can look forward to modifying it to prevent it from happening again.

PS I do us it a lot because that's where I keep my garage door opener (no homelink on a base )

Mine is doing the same thing, I have to take it in. They will replace it at no charge.

No peeling on mine yet.

Now that you mentioned it, I will try to minimize the cabby button use.

I recently had mine replaced. The new one has a *slightly* different finish than the old one. It is less shiny, but seems to have a thicker coating. I'm happy with it overall. It was covered under warranty.
