Snapped Bolt During Spacer Intall
During my install of the MD 5/16" spacer this weekend I snapped one of the bolts that connects the bottom half of the upper manifold to the head. I was using a torque wrench set to the 60 inch pounds required upon the first round of tightening, so I'm not sure how this happened. Regardless I'm now missing one of the bolts until it comes in on order. I'm worried that the bottom half of the upper manifold may warp over time where pressure is missing from the bolt. I'm curious to know how harmful it is to run the car while missing one of these bolts.

Dont worry about it, Use caution on drilling the broken bolt out, once u are center punched, grease will keep the shavings at bay and it wouldnt hurt to run a tap down it just to chase the threads and de burr it
Thanks for the response. I was actually fortunate enough that the break occured above the lower manifold, so I was able to back the remainder of the bolt out with a pair of pliars. I pm'ed Tony from MD today and he said that there is no need for immediate worry over the missing bolt, but to replace it as soon as the part comes in from the local dealership. All in all I'm probably looking at a $6 error (hopefully).
