Hmmm.....did you have the engine running ?

That may be a dumb question, but the reset procedures are with the engine not running....the tach shouldnt move at all during the procedure(s).

LOL. No, that's a perfectly good question because I thought this was with the engine running. I apologize for being such an moron. I don't know much about cars or working on them myself. I'll try it without the engine running this time.

Say did we ever get a result on the issue with this? Wondering since I want to do this procedure in order to see the outcome on a flashed ECU.
