Im guessing your talking about the procedure explained on tachnosquares website to reset throttle positioning and idle. I am going to try that this weekend. I have to take my car in for the feathering issue i just never have time and its annoying me

OK I also have an 05 Z and I have the Exact problem. I hate that pop noise at idle. I had 6,500 miles on it when I heard this noise. I had the dealership look at it and they said it was completely normal on the Z's. They even offered me to take one for a test drive and once it was warmed up to listen for it. He checked for any codes..None. Then reset the ecu to learn how I drive. I dont know what to think. All I know is I better hurry up and figure this out before the car is no longer under warrenty!

Any more ideas people? Let me know I have to get some answers before I start modding and something breaks=No warrenty then. Let me know..

Mine does it too. Seems like I've read about this before as being normal...

Yes clean out the carbon deposits. Mine did same thing after battery disconnection. only started first time without throttle when cold. Dotn raise idle, try cleaning first

I have this as well, would like to know what others tried that has worked. I dyno'd the car recently, and it looks like the sputter/pop doesn't seem to have affected power output.
