Default Idle chatter with clutch out

I'm noticing that my engine clatters when I'm idling in neutral with the clutch out, but it goes away when I depress the clutch pedal. It seems to be lower, down in the driveline. My car idles smoothly, as it should, especially since I have insaneamine's grounding kit installed, but whenever I'm at a stoplight or in my driveway, it seems to be noisy. Anyone else notice this, or have any ideas why? I've got 4000 miles, and it didn't seem to do this the first couple months I owned it. Other than the earthing kit, I've got no other mods, oil was changed at 3750, everything else seems normal. Nothing has occured to warrant a change in engine or driveline noise. Always use premium fuel. I'm baffled. Any help?

This is a normal sound for this type of transmission. I just had Nissan Tech inspect my car, and this is what they told me. I have the clutch chatter, but no transmission problems.

If it's normal, how come not everybody is hearing it?

You might want to have them check the throwout bearing. I've had a similar problem with my S.
