Default front brake hose replacement

I am looking to replace my LF brake hose. I notice the line doesnt go straight from the metal line to the caliper. It goes to two different union before it ends at the caliper. When you replace that item, do you replace the whole thing including the connecting unions or just portion of the hose?

thanks

I just removed everything, it's definitely a long piece with the two unions. I think I need to order the hose and two copper gaskets and maybe two new nuts.

thanks

the brake line is one piece with a mounting device in the center which is a brass piece with a mounting hole. Nuts are reusable and copper washers should come with the new line. Rule of thumb -----If you replace one, replace both
