Default Problems with my driver side wheel

My driver side rear wheel is making a clunking noise when I go over a pud holes, bumps, anything that is uneven, sound like something is loose. I thought it was the exhaust pipe that got loose, but when I try to kick or shake the tip of my exhaust, I don't hear anything. So I'm assuming it might not be the exhaust pipe that got loose. Anyone have any suggestion on what might be my problem?
