It could be one of the following:
Bad power steering pump
Brake pad ready to be changed (if you're applying brakes through the turn)
Bad wheel bearing (less likely to be this)

Just take it in to you're Nissan dealer and have them give it a once over.

Good luck...let us know what it was...

How many miles on the Z? Also which area of the car is it coming from?
Could be brakes or could just be the wear tab rubbing on the brakes rubbing up against your rotor because of a bad wheel bearing. Hear anything else from the area? A very slight grinding noise maybe?

my z has 41,000 even on it. it happens at turns above 20mph. i dont think its the brakes cuz they were replaced 4 months ago and hav had no problems till now. i havnt heard any grinding noises but i could be wrong. could there be rust in the bearing? it seems to be on the drivers front. im just worried that nissan will giv a stupid $$$$$$. im in collage so money is tight!

I also live in florida, i liv a mile from the salt water.

Good news bro, if it's the wheel bearings they are covered under the powertrian warranty. Just go in and tell them that's what it is. That's what it sounds like to me anyway. I had the same thing going on. Reason for the squeeking I never understood though.

Turn everything off in your car including the AC. Listen to the front wheel very closely at about 40-50 mph. If you hear a slight grinding over the road noise that's deffinitely what you have.

My 07 does that, usually on slow turns, but sometimes even while going straight. I did some searching and a lot of people seem to think its a bushing that needs to be lubed, so maybe that's what it is. Going up my driveway which is slightly inclines makes it squeak the most though.
