Default Damn to many rock chips

I heard there is a special white wax made for white cars, to fill in the gaps and scartches on a white car? anybody heard of this?

yes, its called a sealant but i would suggest to fill in those rock chips with touch up paint then wetsand the area to smooth it out then buff everything back out to a gloss.

Sometime ago there was a wax that came in colors for different color cars. I remember because on the infomercial, the guy would rake the hood with a rock, then fix it with the wax.

Of course it was crap.

you talking about that turtle-wax polish with chip-stick?

the polish really helped on my old red car (minor oxidation)
my friend uses the black polish on his 97 anniv z28, he doesnt use it properly though, make sure to do it properly and strip the car before, wax it after



scracthes... you might mean Nu-Finish?

It was called Colorcoat 2000. Guess they went out of business.
