Default Coolant Change

Hey dont know if anyone has come across this but when i tried changing my coolant over the weekend i could only get a little more than 4 quarts to drain...i know the Z holds about 10 is there something i need to do to get the rest out?

Any suggestions would be great. thanks.

turn on the heater, run the car for a bit while it drains, and when i mean a bit i mean like a minute or so, just untill it stops draining. then refill without delay

Yeh, car needs to be on so it can circulate the coolant. If not, most of it will be stuck somewhere in the cooling system. Usually you need a flush machine to completely replace the old coolant with the new without running the car with no coolant at all. If you dont have access to one, or dont want to take it to a quick lube, then just run the car til it drains out.
