car starting problem
ok so i got in a wreck a while back it was all body damage little to say when i got my car back i noticed a problem when starting my car at first it hardly did it but now i am noticing it a lot more. ok this is my problem when i start my car the rev immediately dies down. so ok the numbers as close as i can tell is start and it jumps up to roughly 1,400 quickly drops to 200 or 150 then jumps back up to 5 or 600 and idles there.......... is that not a low idle? ok who can tell me whats going on so far i have heard it could be spark plugs or a Mass air flow sensor problem..... has anyone had this problem? thanks in advance
Reading your post, I am feeling dejavu. That is exactly what happened to my car. I took it to the body shop and got it back, and when I got it back, the exact same thing happened. It pissed me off, but I didn't know what was causing the problem. So you think it's the MAF? Someone suggested that I go to an autoparts store and get someting to clean it with. What do you think?
but my MAF is clean i had just gotten my intake like 2 weeks before the wreck and i have specific cleaner that i used to clean it when i put the intake on , how do i reset my ecu?
