Just got my Z after 2 years of saving $$$. The car has 150 miles now. Anyhow, i noticed a small puddle of fluid on the garage floor (driver-side engine bay, just a little behind the front axle). The first thing i thought of was the oil leak problems that has been mentioned in the forum. But i dropped a piece of tissue paper to soak up the fluid. ---> Surprise..the fluid is clear and a few drop liquid splattered onto the side and they beaded up(like water.) In retrospect, i should have rub some of that liquid over my hand and feel the consistency.
Anyhow.. the fluid doesn't have the amber/light brown color of motor oil i am used to seeing. It..well... looks like water. Anyone have any idea where it is from?

Were you running your air conditioner before you parked it? Condensation will drip off the coils on humid days. Perfectly normal if it is just water.

 

Probably form your A/C..... Normal.
