pnp switch code p1706 Help please.
I tried a search and couldn't find anything. so i ope i am not repeating the question.
Here it is-had tranny rebuilt and put on random tech high flow cats along with a new flywheel and clutch from fidanza after 50 miles the ses light came on. Just went to autozone and p1706 code came up which is the pnp switch. So can some one tell me what is needed to fix this issue and why it came up.
Thanks

PNP = Park/Neutral Position Switch. My guess is that they didn't reconnect the switch or broke it during the install.

It has been a while, but if I recall, the switch was broken and needed to be replaced. I think it was about 80, but I am not 100 percent sure
