Low idle after resetting ECU.
I reset my ECU after taking it easy during the break in peroid on my 07. Now my idle is about 500 and dips every now and then. Is this common after the reset?

I have a 04 and it does that when car is driven for a bit and stopped at a stop light. Turn on your AC when that happens and it'll boost it a couple hundred rpms to smooth out the idle. Maybe a dirty air filter or PVC Valve if ours have one. I haven't gotten the chance to change or check the PVC valve yet. You can shake it and if you don't hear a rattle, replace it. Its suppose to rattle freely like a marble or bebe inside. Maybe try cleaning the TB flap will help as well. AS long as it doesn't stall and does it constantly, I wouldn't be too worried for the time being. If it idle right when car is warmed in the morning, don't mess with Idle control valve. If low, then you need to adjust the screw and apply silcone to screw to hold position when done adjusting. Adjust only when car is fully at operating temp - Temp gauge should be right below the middle of the gauge.

I forgot all about the ecu reset. Did you drive it around after resetting? You reset over night and in the morning, let idle till car is warmed up and drive it normal around town. The computer should adjust it automaticly. Especially your car is fairly new. Dam, I need to get to bed soon.
