Unhappy Traction Control System

Help!!! My Nissan dealership says they can't correct the erratic behavior of my Traction Control System because I have replaced the stock wheels and tires with 20x10.5 - 275/30 ZR20 Rear and 20x8.5 - 245/35 ZR20 Front.

When turning and accelerating on a dry street, the SLIP light comes on and the power shuts down. If I merge into a highway in 2nd gear, the power will stay shut down even when I shift to 3rd and 4th gears.

Help would be much appreciated. If you have some advice, or have been in the same predicament, please respond.

Thanks!

It's a pretty common problem and the dealer is correct in that there's nothing they can do. You've picked the wrong profile tires so now your front tires are taller than the rears. While 245/275 are the usual up-sized tires, they only work when both front and rear are the same profile (30, 35, 40, 45). Your 35 fronts are 26.8" tall and the 30 rears are only 26.5" tall. That will definitely freak out TCS or VDC.
