Question HELP!! Car wont idle

I'm a total noob when it comes to tuning, but I went ahead and bought an AEM CAI and the Motordyne 5/16" plenum spacer. I installed both and went to start my engine. It fired up just fine, then started dropping RPMs until it finally died.

I ran through the ECU reset function, but wasn't sure that was working, so I disconnected the battery and pumped the brakes to reset the ECU that way.

I tried it again, and the same thing happened. I'm pretty sure that there aren't any intake leaks, but I can't figure out what the issue is.

Any ideas??

Check all the connections and disconnect the battery for several hrs.

ok, I will...thanks.

I know that the MAF is installed an plugged in, but part of me wonders if I put it in the right way....I'll go check and then I'll leave it unplugged for a while.

Also, the strut tower bar doesn't seem to line up. Did anyone have problems with that?

Thanks guys. Resetting the ECU helped. I hate to admit this, but the actual problem was I put the MAF in backwards... I guess that makes me a moron, but at least I figured it out.

Thanks again for the advice!

I have the same spacer and the strut bar fits perfect. I think its your spacer.
