Accident Damage - Need Advice
Guys,
An SUV reserved full speed into my about 3 weeks ago. The rear bumper of the SUV rode up my hood and right fender. I had the car fixed and it looks like its back to normal except for one thing.
There is excessive road noise coming from my right wheel well (i think). It is so loud that you can hear it over the radio. Before the accident, I was riding normal and enjoying the car.
This is the question, would the accident have caused any damage that could cause the excessive road noise. The only damaged parts were the hood, right headlamp, right fender, left fender, and bumper. I asked the shop to look at the problem, but i think those @$$holes didnt. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
By the way, my car is a 2005 350z 35th ANNV with brand new tires (got them in june).

Sound travels through air really well - I'd put the thing on a jack, pull that wheel off and then get a bright light looking for a crack. Pull the passenger side luggage cubical apart to get a better look back there. It's a bunch of work - so your shop didn't do it - but worth the look IMHO. Putting the bright light outside shining up at that area and looking from the inside for light leaks is the easiest way I know to find the crack.
