Default Hood pin sensor

my car still goes off because of my hood once in a blue moon and i think its because of the sensor
is this easy to remove? or will i need to take it in to the dealer

I think we do have a sensor- swear I saw a hood pin push switch last I popped her open.

Look to the left for a push-pin switch with a rubber cover on it.

I know people have travelled without hoods on, so why didn't their cars have problems?

The switch is only on the '03 models.

Figure out of the switch is closed or open when the button is pushed. If closed, remove the sensor and tie the wire to ground. If open, remove the sensor and leave the connector open.
